Our Team Camp focuses on competitive team play, skill development and team bonding opportunities for high school and club teams that are looking to take their game to the next level. The schedule includes training sessions, 6v6 competitive wash drills and matches/tournament play. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. This camp is open to any and all applicants. We will provide housing/food for one coach for each 8 campers. Each additional coach is $150. There is a non-refundable deposit of one camper fee ($425/$325) to reserve your spot in camp. In the past, we have had teams cancel due to numbers after we have already turned other programs away. Thank you for understanding.
We will provide a JMU Camp Coach for your team for the entire duration of camp. We encourage your high school and club coaches to be involved as they would like.
Overnight campers will stay in Bell Hall and McGraw-Long Hall with two campers per room.
Check in will be from 11:45-2:15P (based on wave schedule) on July 18th at McGraw-Long Hall. Check out will be 4:30P on July 20th at Godwin Hall for Commuters/McGraw-Long Hall for overnight campers.

CHECK IN INFORMATION, JULY 18TH
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

1. This year our teams will be housed in our Hillside Area dorms with close access to D-Hall. Please Park in the “C4” Parking Lot (E-3 on the map above) and walk up to McGraw-Long Hall for check-in. Do not park in vehicle service spaces, handicap, expired timed spaces and please do not try to pull up in the fire lane by the dorm.
2. Bring your bags in and head to McGraw-Long Hall for check – in. You will either be housed in McGraw-Long Hall or Bell Hall, next door.
3. Coaches: we will have your team’s room key/ meal cards, lanyards, schedules and camp T-shirts packaged together to pick up at registration. We will give you the box to distribute to your team as they arrive. Please note that there will be a $30.00 charge for any lost room key and a $10.00 charge for any lost meal card. We are not doing check deposits this year, but we trust that you will assist us in collecting the money if there happens to be a lost room key/meal card. Thank you!
4. Our staff will direct you to your dorm rooms to unload and change if you are an overnight camper. Please note that we do not allow males to go past the lounge into the dorm rooms. We will have female staff available to help carry bags if needed.
ROOM KEY & MEAL CARDS
Please make sure each camper has $40 at camp in the case that they lose a room key or meal card. There is a $30 charge for a lost room key and a $10 charge for a lost meal card. Let a coach know if you have misplaced either and we will get a replacement asap. If you lose your room key on the last day, we kindly ask that you stop by the table to pay the $30 before departing camp. This enables us to not have to take room key/meal card check deposits in the future. Thank you!
SPENDING MONEY
Campers can purchase Snacks, Drinks and JMUVB gear at the camp store. We will also have a pizza night ($10/large pizza).
AUTOMOBILES ON CAMPUS
Any campers wishing to drive themselves to camp and leave the car at JMU, must email Lauren at sauerla@jmu.edu prior to camp to get their car registered to park. All keys to these cars must be turned into the Camp Director (Coach Lauren Steinbrecher) at check-in for the duration of camp.

COMMUTER INFORMATION
Commuter’s Schedules are the same as overnight campers, except we do not provide breakfast for commuting campers. Please arrive for your first session of the day after breakfast.
CHECK OUT, JULY 20TH
1. You are more than welcome to come watch our camp tournaments on Sunday, July 20th from 1:30-4:15P.
2. Parking Map: https://www.jmu.edu/parking/_files/parkingmap.pdf . You may park in the C4, G, F, P, C5 and Convo Lots (E, B, A) for the tournament (the parking lots are in purple/gray on the map). The G, F, P and C5 lots are closest to Godwin Hall. If you decide to park in other locations, please be aware that the other lots are supervised by our parking staff at JMU and they do give out parking tickets. The tournaments will be hosted in Godwin Hall, UREC and our brand-new Convocation Center (enter through door A). Godwin is shown on the map above next to our football stadium. To get to UREC and the Convocation Center, follow Bluestone Drive towards Godwin Hall, walk past parking lot C9 and then under I-81 through the “Duke Dog Alley.” You will see the University Recreation Center (UREC) up the hill on the left once you get through the tunnel and the Convocation Center straight ahead up the hill. This map shows the Convocation Center and UREC for your reference.
3. We do not have bleachers on the courts in Godwin or UREC so please feel free to bring your own chair
4. After our tournament play, Commuter campers are free to leave from Godwin Hall at 4:30P and Overnight campers will check out at McGraw-Long Hall at 4:30P.
5. All overnight campers must turn in their own room keys to JMUVB camp staff in the McGraw-Long Hall Lobby prior to departure. (Please do not leave keys in the rooms or give to a friend.) Once you have taken everything out of your room, turn in your room key and have your name crossed off our list in the lobby. Failure to do so will result in a $30 lost key fine from James Madison University - due July 20th. You may throw away your meal card at the conclusion of camp. Please see parking for Check-in to assist you in parking at McGraw-Long Hall for check-out.
